Nick arrived well ahead of the party to make sure we had no issues and could get started on time. We had 14 boys between the ages of 5 and 10 and Nick did an amazing job setting everyone up with a game they’d like. It was shocking how smoothly it all went down. The trailer itself is so well set up with stadium seating and the lighting / music system create such a fun vibe. How much does a video game truck party cost in Toronto?

Gamers Getaway video game truck parties start at $429 for 90 minutes, $479 for 2 hours and $629 for 3 hours, plus travel and HST. Your travel fee depends on your city and is shown in the booking form before you pay. Every package includes the trailer, a Game Coach, all consoles and 100+ games, so nothing essential is sold as an extra.

How many kids can play at once in the video game truck?

Up to 15 players can game at the same time inside the Gamers Getaway mobile gaming theatre, spread across multiple big screens running PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and VR. Bigger guest lists still work well, because guests rotate in and out through the party while the Game Coach keeps everyone moving.

What's included in a Gamers Getaway video game truck party?

Every package includes the climate-controlled gaming trailer, a Game Coach who runs the entire party, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, Xbox and VR, 100+ games with online multiplayer, Wi-Fi on board, and full setup and cleanup. All game accounts are provided. You don't supply TVs, consoles, controllers or games.

How long is a typical video game truck party?

Two hours is the most-booked length for birthday parties. 90 minutes suits younger kids and shorter afternoons, and 3 hours fits bigger guest lists, school events and corporate days. Setup takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes before your start time and doesn't come out of your party time.

What ages is a video game truck party good for?

Kids, teens and adults all play. The Gamers Getaway game library spans Mario Kart World, Minecraft and Roblox for younger players through Fortnite, NBA 2K, EA FC and NHL for teens, and your Game Coach matches the games to the group. Adults play plenty too, at corporate family days, team parties and community events.

How much parking space does the video game truck need?

Gamers Getaway needs about 30 to 32 feet of flat parking, roughly 3 to 3.5 car lengths, on the street or in a driveway near the party. The entrance is on the side of the trailer, so no extra clearance is needed behind it. If parking is tight on your street, mention it when you book and we'll plan the spot with you.

Do you plug into our house power?

No. The Gamers Getaway trailer runs on its own onboard generator, so nothing connects to your home and your hydro bill is unaffected. The screens, consoles, lighting, sound system and climate control all run off the truck.

What happens if it rains or snows on party day?

The party goes ahead. Everything happens inside a fully enclosed, climate-controlled trailer that's heated in winter and air conditioned in summer, so weather doesn't cancel a Gamers Getaway booking. That makes it a dependable option for rainy-season and winter birthdays in Ontario, when indoor party space is hardest to find.

What areas do you serve?

Gamers Getaway serves Toronto and the full GTA, including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa, and travels to surrounding Ontario communities. Type your city into the booking form and the travel fee appears before you pay.

How far in advance should I book a video game truck?

Book as early as you can for a weekend date. Weekend afternoons fill first, especially through spring and summer, March Break, the end of the school year and December. Weekday and evening slots are usually open on shorter notice, and they're where the WEEKDAY, EARLYBIRD and NIGHTOWL discount codes apply. The booking calendar shows live availability, so you can see open dates before committing.

What do I need to get ready before the truck arrives?

Very little. Keep the parking space clear and let Gamers Getaway know about anything awkward in advance, such as a steep driveway, low branches, a narrow street or permit-only parking. Your Game Coach handles setup, runs the games and packs everything away afterwards.

Do you do school events, camps and corporate parties?

Yes. Gamers Getaway runs school fun fairs and graduation celebrations, PA day and March Break camps, daycare events, sports team parties, church and community events, municipal festivals and corporate family days across Toronto, the GTA and surrounding Ontario. Send your date and headcount for group and multi-hour pricing.

How do I book and pay?

Book online in a few minutes: choose a package, pick a date and start time from live availability, enter your details and pay. You can pay in full or reserve your date with a $100 deposit and pay the balance on party day. Your confirmation email arrives straight away.
